Our chickens free roam from about 6 weeks old. Once we take them from the heat cages, we never cage them again unless they exhibit some type of injury and they need to be protected from the flock. They free range on grasshoppers and worms, etc. We don't normally put out feed for them, so they learn early to hunt and forage and they are all very healthy. We do lock their coop at night after they have all gone to bed, just to ensure against predators.
Grapeland Farm and Feed usually have our eggs for sale, but you're welcome to pick them up from the farm as well. We cannot guaranty a color choice, but we will try our best to supply as available.
Raw Cows Milk (Currently Out of Stock)
$6/Gal Available in glass containers if you will be returning them, or plastic 1 gallon jugs (like the grocery store) with a sealed lid.
Please call/text/email your request so we can make sure we have milk available. We have to schedule pickups by customers according to present quantities on hand.
We do not sell cheese or butter. You are welcome to come watch us make butter if you like, or we can explain it to you, but we do not have the time to commit to stocking these products. (Cheese takes about 48 hours!) Butter can be ready as soon as 30 minutes, but takes about 4 hours total.
